Annual General Meeting

Tuesday, 9 April, 7:30pm in the Village Hall Meeting Room

The annual AGM is an opportunity to learn about the FGA and elect new officers. Our speaker for the evening will be Marcus Kohler, a local ecologist with over 30 years’ experience and founder of the award-winning business MKA Ecology (www.mkaecology.co.uk). We always welcome new committee members to help us beautify our village.  Wine and snacks will be served after the meeting.

This popular event is your chance to pick up new plants for your garden and home.  From vegetables to flowers, you’ll find what you need for the coming summer growing season while enjoying a tea and scone.

This year we are visiting Kathy Brown’s amazing garden in Bedford (www.kathybrownsgarden.com). £28 per person includes entrance, garden tour, tea and cakes and the coach transport. A great day out that shouldn’t be missed. Space is limited so make your reservations now with Julie Bamborough at julie.bamborough@gmail.com

Foxton Village Show

Saturday 7 September, 2.00pm

The Village Show is our biggest event in the FGA calendar. We had a great show in 2018 and encourage everyone to participate this year with entries in our wide range of horticulture, culinary and craft categories.  Every house in the village will receive a Village Show programme later in the year with all the details and an entry form.  It’s great fun for the entire family.
