2026 Best Kept Front Garden Competition
Peter Jackson from Scotsdales very kindly did the final judging on yet another scorching hot day! The winners and runners up are:

• First place: 10 St. Laurence Rd
• Second place: 27 Fowlmere Rd
• Third place: 6 Barrington Rd

Many congratulations to them and to all who won their area. As always the cup will be presented at the village show in September.

Village Show, Saturday September 12th 2026
Every house in the village will receive a copy of the show schedule this month. A copy of the programme and additional details are also available to view here. Do enter, come along in the afternoon to see the exhibits, have some refreshments, enter the raffle and enjoy a “catch up” with friends and neighbours. We have been blessed with lovely weather for the show in recent years but whatever the weather, the show is always a celebration of village life.
