The FGA hosts a variety of events throughout the year.

Village Show
The Village Show is the biggest event in the FGA calendar. We encourage everyone to participate with entries in our wide range of horticulture, culinary and craft categories.  Every house in the village will receive a Village Show programme in advance with all the details and an entry form.  It’s great fun for the entire family.

Plant sale and swap
This popular event is your chance to pick up new plants for your garden and home.  From vegetables to flowers, you’ll find what you need for the coming summer growing season while enjoying a tea and scone.

Wine tasting
Every two years, the FGA hosts a wine tasting evening with each flight hosted by members of the village.

Open Gardens
Once again your neighbours will be generously opening their beautiful gardens for a wonderful stroll through Foxton.

Best Kept Front Garden
The FGA organises an annual competition to find the village’s best front garden. Shortlisting usually takes place in late June and the winner, selected by an external judge in July, is announced at the Village Show.

Summer garden trip
The FGA team plans days out to visit gardens and sites of horticultural interest.

Annual General Meeting
The annual AGM is an opportunity to learn about the FGA and elect new officers. We always welcome new committee members to help us beautify our village.  Wine and snacks will be served after the meeting.
